Dr. Judy Ballew Byler
     Dr. Judy holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling, is an excellent Bible teacher, and is a skilled musician.She is a faithful wife, mother, and ministry partner who has dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, her husband, and her family. In 2009, she returned to her beloved mountains after more than forty years in active ministry around the world.Not long after she earned her doctorate, she began working in the Juvenile Justice System of Georgia, helping "at-risk" teens find their way through the maze of legal and personal struggles. She also developed a powerful prayer ministry in South Georgia which was effective in touching the lives of many people. It can well be said of Dr. Judy Byler that she is a woman who is determined to know the Lord, to know His ways, and to share His love.
    Today, Dr. Judy continues to be involved in ministry, directing the music ministry, teaching, and playing the piano for Trinity Church-McCaysville. She also serves in the rotation of pastoral chaplains in the local hospital. She joins her husband in discovering ways to extend their work of ministry deep into the years when most people would have already retired. Today, they serve Trinity Church, pouring their energy and passion into developing a community of believers that extends itself to the i\ever-increasing population of retirees in the Tri-State area.
    Dr. Judy Byler is a child of the mountains, raised in the Cohutta range of the Appalachians. Her father worked in the copper mines of East Tennessee. Her mother was a diligent homemaker who worked tirelessly to instill
the values of her faith into her children.
Her mother and father, Clarence and Ruth
Ballew, were profoundly dedicated Christians whose example of faith and Godliness shaped
the lives of their three children.
 
    Phil and Judy Byler were united in marriage in 1964. They began their life together as a military couple. Following that, they served together in ministry, pastoring churches, leading worship, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
