Advent is so much more than getting things ready for Christmas. True, the birthday of our Savior is tremendously important to us as Christians. Even more, however, is the return of our Lord Jesus to receive His Church. Advent begins the Christian year ... looking forward with strong anticipation of that glorious moment when the dead shall be raised, and those who remain will be caught up to meet Him. So shall we ever be with the Lord.
